Salman Rushdie Reads an Excerpt from "The Satanic Verses"

Here's a nice clip for anyone who's as fascinated by this controversial figure/novel as I am. This reading makes it obvious that the "Verses" were designed to be read out loud - an underrated trait in today's literature. In my humble opinion, the ability to be read out loud is what separates the great storytellers from the merely wordy.
